Liberating my wardrobe and WIAW

Hello guys happy WIAW! These are my tasty eats and general happenings from yesterday as I am working late this evening again, boo!

Peas and Crayons

I started off my day with some yoga in the form of a 25 minute Yoga for Runner’s podcast. I love doing a quick bit of yoga to start my day! Breakfast was a bowl of Kashi Strawberry Fields cereal with a chopped banana, rice milk and 2 tbsp of almond butter:

I also had a big mug of Teapigs Choco Flake tea with rice milk and stevia sweetener. Yum yum!

I was thinking about what to wear for work and decided to bust out my new maxi dress:

I have so many beautiful clothes that rarely see the light of day as I never seem to get round to wearing them. I tend to save my nicer stuff for weekends which is silly really, life is too short! So I am officially liberating my wardrobe! I think that by layering up the dress with the basic tee makes it more wearable for work.

I had a great morning, I was so productive! I also got very excited when this arrived:

My new Excalibur Dehydrator! No way am I going to be able to wait until my birthday to use it :-)

Mid morning I snacked on a lovely organic apple and some jasmine green tea:

Lunch was a big salad with cos lettuce, carrot, yellow pepper, cucumber, sugar snaps, spicy chickpeas and a dressing of braggs liquid aminos and hemp oil:

I also had a little peach and a mug of ginger hibiscus tea afterwards.

Mid afternoon I snacked on a chocolate brownie Pure bar…

…yum… then headed to the gym. I did 30 minutes of cardio intervals on the machines followed by my Body Pump Class. I’ve missed the last two weeks classes due to being on holiday and working late so it was great to get back into it!

For dinner I got a little experimental and made a curried tofu scramble served on top of a simple socca with parsley and some steamed broccoli on the side:

I just fried some ginger, garlic, garam masala, turmeric and finely chopped onion in coconut oil then added some quickly pressed and crumbled firm tofu to the pan. I also added a small chopped courgette, half a red pepper and a handful of spinach. All served up on top of the socca and it was delicious!

Dessert was a very large bowl of peanut swirl protein ice cream topped with some peanut flour sauce and cacao nibs:

2 scoops of pb swirl spiru-tein, ice, water, xanthan and guar gums and a few drops of stevia for sweetness. That well and truly filled my tum!

How often to you wear the ‘best’ items in your wardrobe? I am now committed to trying to wear and enjoy as much of the clothes I own as possible, I may even have to post up a few more OOTD’s to motivate me!

Do you feel like you need to liberate your wardrobe?
